Terms of Reference (ToR) play a crucial role in the governance of the Gabriel Square Management Company committee by establishing a clear framework for the committee's structure, functions, and responsibilities. Furthermore, the terms of reference are essential for evaluating the committee's performance, as they provide a benchmark against which achievements can be measured. By clearly defining the parameters of operation, the ToR support sound governance practices and enhance the overall effectiveness of the committee in fulfilling its mandate.
Each year the committee prepares an Annual Company Plan, which outlines their priorities for investment of time and resources in the Square. In the next year the Committee will prepare a ten-year Maintenance Plan for the Square, which will inform (and aim to stabilise) Service Charge requirements for the longer term.
